MAC Cosmetics opened a new store at the Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, California yesterday night. It looks beautiful as usual, and at a very convenient spot, since parking is only three dollars at the parking structures nearby or even free at the Macy’s Store in the Santa Monica Place. What did I dislike? The didn’t let me in!!! it was the big opening day, so they only accepted famous people, actually I saw Fernando Botero getting out of the store with a bag of purchases, so OF COURSE they didn’t let me in…. (sniff sniff…).
It is insanely great to have a new Mac Cosmetics in such a convenient spot!!!

Well, yesterday I went to Camarillo Outlet as expected, and well… it wasn’t THAT great…. its just a huge mass of stores, some of them cool brands, in an open and very windy space, at 10-30% rebate prices. I tried to buy perfumes but they were at the same price as in the airport… so no big retail there. I went to Clarks outlet and buy a pair of boots at “sale” (buy 2 pairs and obtain a 25% discount in the second pair), not a big rebate after all but…. at least I got something a bit discounted for the looooong drive (1 hour from Los Angeles). Also…. I visited The Cosmetics Store, which is the outlet store for some brands like Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown and…… of course MAC. I purchased some MAC stuff for 10-40% discounted prices, which was of course a deep pleasure. The rest of the stores had not that amazing stuff, I think it was stuff designed specially for the outlet, not the same stuff as they sell in Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc., so I avoided shopping in those stores.

Los Angeles is treating me really well…. I apologyze for my lack of presence this week but, I’ve been too busy to write. Americans do work intensely, and so do I when I am among them, hehehe so haven’t had much free time to write, sorry guys.
What can I tell so far from my travel… well, I love DKNY rebates, I absolutely love MAC Cosmetics, and Fry’s is the best electronics shop ever, hehehe (and of course, my credit card hates me… )
I love living with Ivi (Ivan’s nickname), he’s just so lovely and caring about me that he makes me feel indeed loved. In fact I admire his HUGE patience, when I travel I have very little patience and loose my temper quite easily, but he manages to stay cool… he’s such a great guy…. priceless in fact, hehehehe for everything else…. American Express!!! LOL
Well…. today I am going to visit extra-famous Camarillo Outlet, it’s about an hour from LA, but I heard that it is really big and that it has very interesting rebates, so…. there I go, I will tell you later if it was as great as expected.
